PaRentals is a property management software-as-a-service platform designed to help property managers, landlords, and agents manage properties, tenants, contracts, and maintenance requests.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One user account per person; shared accounts are prohibited

5. Data and Privacy

• You retain ownership of your data uploaded to the platform
• We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to breach or circumvent security measures
• Upload malicious software or content
• Resell or redistribute access to the platform without authorization

7. Financial Information & Accuracy Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• All financial figures, balances, statements, and reports are derived from the data you and your users provide, and their accuracy depends entirely on the correctness and completeness of that input.
• PaRentals does not constitute professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified accountant or auditor.
• No financial transaction, payment, payout, or disbursement should be executed solely on the basis of figures produced by PaRentals. All values must first be independently verified and confirmed using established and accepted accounting principles and your own records before any money changes hands.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and confirming all amounts before acting on them.
• PaRentals accepts no responsibility or liability for any discrepancies, miscalculations, or errors arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misinterpreted input data.

8. Limitation of Liability

PaRentals is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaRentals, its owners, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial losses, including but not limited to:

• Any financial loss, damages, or liabilities incurred as a result of relying on values, reports, statements, or calculations produced by the platform
• Losses arising from transactions executed without independent verification of figures
• Data loss due to technical failures or user error
• Service interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control
• Any decisions made or actions taken based on information obtained through the platform

Your use of the platform and any reliance on its outputs is entirely at your own risk.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
